The Bullmastiffs that have been a part of our lives
As we strive to protect the breed standard we have selectively imported international bloodlines to improve the gene pool. We have stopped breeding with our South African bloodlines as the breeds conformation has deteriorated over the years. Our older dogs are not show standard but they still deserve recognition because they are the very reason for our journey with this breed. They all hold a special place in our hearts and will forever be a part of our beloved family.
Dexter
One of our very first Bullmastiffs. This gentle soul was our introduction to the Bullmastiff. He was a part of our family for 12 years until he decided it was time to watch over us from the other side.
Taz
Taz was Dexter's brother from a second litter. Taz was such a gentle sweet soul. He also lived to a healthy age of 12.
Bella
Our first Brindle girl is still with us today. Bella is a prime example of the deteriorating bloodlines with South African Bullmastiffs, her conformation is incorrect, she is smaller boned, had a long nose and represents a staffie cross. Regardless, her personality shines through and she remains one of the most treasured members of our family.
